I was born in 1971. First shoot when I was 14 using a Canon A1 equiped with a 50 mm lens.
In 1997, I opted for a Canon 50 E and (finally!) a wide angle lens!! A sporadic activity until 2003, when I gave in to temptation and went digital (Canon 10 D in order to keep on using the same lenses). I now almost exclusively work with a digital camera. The recent acquisition of a Canon 5D gave me the same sensation I had with traditional film camera, saving precious time thanks to the simplicity of the digital postproduction. Anyway, equipment is more a matter of passion than a requirement to make good pictures. The most important thing is and will always be...observation..and luck - being at the right place at the right moment.

Rather "busy" with an absorbing job, what I miss is mainly..time. The time to undertake the projects I have in mind, the time to learn more techniques. But the pleasure increases with every shoot and the need to shoot increases.
